What he funded was the Homeowner Tax Relief Grant that was created by Roy Barnes and Democrats. Yet Republicans have only funded it 2 out of the last 17 years, one being this year. Keisha will fund it every year and work to increase it to $25k. keishaforgovernor.com/klb-poโ€ฆ

Seen a lot of folks talking about how Ossoff nearly won Mike Collinsโ€™ own congressional district. Seen a lot fewer folks talking about the fact that Ossoff won GOP controlled GA-01 and GA-12. Imagine what Georgia looks like with fair maps. #gapol

This is amazing
๐Ÿ’ฅNEW: NBC's Steve Kornacki *DUMPS COLD WATER* on The Today Show viewers' hopes of Dems winning Senate๐Ÿ’ฅ Kornacki noted Democrat leads in key Senate races are "tenuous" โ€” and that polling frequently underestimates Trump voters. He asserted Republicans now confidently view polls where Democrats have slight leads as likely GOP victories. Kornacki gave specific examples, such as Ohio and Iowa. Remember the infamous Ann Selzer Iowa 2024 poll? Kornacki particularly highlighted the Kansas Senate race in 2020. He said the Democrat was polling well โ€” but Republican Roger Marshall ultimately smoked her in a landslide. Marshall is now supposedly polling extremely tightly against his Democrat opponent once again. Kornacki also pointed out that even blue states like Michigan and Minnesota appear remarkably close in polling. He reminded viewers that Abdul El-Sayed barely won his primary after polling projected a huge victory. Due to the tightness of these Senate races, underestimating Republican turnout by even a small margin could make all the difference. Frank Luntz also recently warned Trump voters "don't respond" to pollster phone calls and asserted he was "skeptical" that polls were accurate. Nobody is buying the polls anymore. Democrats could be in for a rude awakening in 2 weeks.

Trumpโ€™s 1.5% victory in 2024 was a mandate. Democratsโ€™ 13.5% victory in 2026 is not.

Unsolicited advice to all the Democrats who won tough seats this week across the country: have the best possible constituent service operation you can. I won and flipped my first state house district in 2016 by 323 votes the same night that Trump won my seat by 12 points. My team was relentless in solving constituent cases because I believe that we can connect with residents regardless of party in this way. We still work this hard at casework. The proof it works? This comment from a constituent this morning on my Facebook page:

With all due respect, I donโ€™t give a f**k if Schumer has an inspiring personality The f**king win he and Jeffries just gave us is inspiring enough. I live in Texas. Schumer and Jeffries just helped overthrow the oppressive dictatorship I and many Texans have been under for most of our life. People can f**k off with that stupid whining โ€œheโ€™s not inspiringโ€ sh*t talk. Results are more important than charisma.

Now that Susie Wiles is out, we're seeing more reporting about what some say was a pay to play situation in order to get your issues in front of President Trump. @maggieNYT If this was so widely known, why wasn't there more reporting on this sooner? thedailybeast.com/donald-truโ€ฆ

Atlanta actually doesnโ€™t need a second airport (and we shouldnโ€™t wish for one). Hartsfield-Jackson is already one of the best-connected airports in the country in terms of heavy rail, with MARTA running directly into the terminal. The real problem is that we never finished building out our regional transit network. Cobb County has historically refused to join MARTA, and heavy rail still doesnโ€™t reach Alpharetta or much of the northern suburbs. Extending MARTA north into Alpharetta and beyond, along with expanding service into Cobb County, would do far more to improve airport accessibility than spending billions building another airport. We should be investing in connecting more of metro Atlanta to the world-class airport we already have.
Atlanta needs a second airport somewhere north of the city. Major cities all over the country have at least 2 airports. Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is gigantic. Parking is often times full. Security lines can be long. The trains to the terminals are crowded and it can take up to 40 minutes if you just walk all the way to the last terminal. And one of the biggest problems is the never-ending terrible traffic in Atlanta if you are driving from anywhere on the north side literally whether itโ€™s down 75, 400, or 85.

2 things: 1. Trains means regional, inter-city connectivity, not MARTA. 2. Why do these people always live in such fear? My 9 year old loves taking MARTA (and has since he was a toddler) and yet these people are so scared.
No one wants to ride on MARTA because it's unsafe. More MARTA isn't a good idea.
