I gotta say, Oklahoma State was INSANE for ushering Mike Gundy out of the door after last season.
The fans were so entitled to want him gone after 15 years of mediocrity.
He won conference title in 2011.
Good luck finding a better coach than Gundy! It’s Oklahoma STATE!

I need to say something.
Yes, Colorado was very bad in the 1-11 season. All time low. Brand was in the gutter. Fans were not happy. I completely agree with ALL of that.
But, people need to stop acting like they never won more than a single game each season before 2022.
People often forget that Colorado was 10-2 and was in the 2016 PAC-12 Championship game.
It was one of the main reasons I came to CU.
People often forget that they were 4-2 in the COVID shortened season.
Karl Dorrell won the COTY that year.
They also:
-Have a 735-556 all-time W/L record.
-Won a National Championship.
-Had a Heisman winner.
Yes, they had some down years.
Yes, they made some bad coaching hires.
Yes, they were behind the momentum of NIL.
Yes, their academic restrictions prevented them from being competitive in the transfer portal.
BUT, they also developed guys like Christian Gonzalez, Nate Landman, and Jordyn Tyson. Not to mention Awuzie, Bakhtiari, and others all in the last 10 years.
Acting like Colorado was literally nothing before 2022 is disingenuous, false, and lazy.
The history behind this program is of one that needs to be rebuilt, not washed away, overwritten, and made to seem like it never happened.
Let me be clear: I’m extremely grateful for everything that the current administration has done to get the University to realize the errors of its ways that lead to the 1-11 season. I want them to continue to fix the issues that have plagued us for many years.
We’ve opened a lot of doors and completely rejuvenated elements that were falling desperately behind in the modern era of college football. For that reason alone, it’s been a net positive.
However, I also need people to stop talking down on Colorado’s history to prop up where we are today. We should both celebrate history and empower the current team.
Saying that Colorado fans should just be okay with mediocrity because of how the last decade went is completely wrong.
That’s LITERALLY why we went out and TRIED to change it!
There are tons of big name programs who outperform CU but don’t have half the dedication, love, and passion that this fanbase has for this university.
We need to be realistic about wanting the current era to go well while also understanding that Colorado Football is more than just ashes that everyone walks over.
I’m tired of it.

I wholeheartedly believe if CU went back to 2025 and took this in state kid instead of current QB they would be undefeated and top 25.
Plays are out there to be made in this offense, just aren’t getting it done.
Meanwhile, 6’ 5” Modrzewski has South Dakota 4-2 with 19 total TD’s!

If one wants to play that game, Indiana went 118-221 from 1995-2023, then went to the CFP in Curt Cignetti's first year on the job and won the national title the year after. Apparently nothing at CU is the fault of the current staff, even in Year Four? Laughable.

Let the record show that Mason Crosby wanted to be CU’s special teams coach, but Coach Prime said no…

Colorado took a timeout because there were only 8 players out for FG block
They then came out after the timeout with only 9 players

NEWS: Texas Tech back-up quarterback Thomas Castellanos will not play tomorrow at Colorado, per a Texas Tech spokesman. He'd been playing on a temporary restraining order in Kentucky that was overruled today. Castellanos and the school are evaluating options for the rest of the season after tomorrow.

Why are we acting like CU was supposed to turn into a national championship contender ??? Why are we acting like he hasn’t achieved more at CU in the last 4 yeats then we’ve seen in the last 20 years combined ?? I hate yal only do this with Prime because yal have a deep disdain for his style of coaching and how speaks or a grudge from back in his playing days. It’s really weird lol

PFF was not kind to Julian Lewis...
33.4 grade overall
29.6 grade when kept clean
48.5 under pressure
28.9 when not blitzed
58.5 when blitzed
Credited with 5 turnover worthy plays and had his yards per attempt at 5.8

There’s a big difference between talking tough about discipline and actually practicing it.

This is the same shit that killed us every year in the prime era. Stupid penalties, lack of composure, boneheaded mistakes. Just undisciplined ball all around.
Wow this is bad.
