Happy International Women’s Day.
Across our Lifeboat Station women are represented across multiple roles, including Helm / Trainer Assessor, Launch Authority, Shore, Lifeboat Crew, Lifeboat Chaplin and our fabulous fundraising crew and branch president.
Today, the RNLI celebrates 200 years of saving lives at sea.
Since we were founded on 4 March 1824, our lifesavers have saved over 146,000 lives – that's two lives every day on average.
