First and foremost, thank you to the 130 participants and 10+ staff and helpers who showed up and supported our first regional, Blackout.
Thank you for believing in our vision. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you.
With that being said, there are things we could have done better, and we want to address them as we look toward Blackout 2.

A Georgia family says they discovered their 4-year-old pug, Cha Cha, was still alive months after paying Senoia Animal Hospital to euthanize her in March.
The family alleges a hospital employee secretly took the dog home instead, but Cha Cha was eventually euthanized after the situation came to light. The family has filed a complaint with the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine, and the case is under investigation.
