🚨NM State hires Todd Forcier to lead men’s basketball performance🚨
NM State named Todd Forcier its director of men’s basketball performance Monday, adding a strength and conditioning specialist with NBA and major-college experience to Jason Hooten’s staff.
Forcier will oversee the Aggies’ strength and conditioning, performance training and athlete development. He most recently worked at Memphis, where his responsibilities included strength training, nutrition, recovery and sport science.
His résumé includes more than a decade with the Portland Trail Blazers and previous positions at Kentucky, Syracuse, Dayton, UNLV and the Seattle SuperSonics. He was on Syracuse’s staff during its 2003 NCAA championship season, according to NM State’s announcement. Memphis roster records independently confirm his work there during the past two seasons.
The Aggies’ posted schedule begins Nov. 3 against Western New Mexico at the Pan American Center. Their early schedule includes a Nov. 7 trip to Gonzaga and rivalry games against UTEP on Nov. 12 in El Paso and Nov. 19 in Las Cruces.

According to my sources, it does seem NMSU is expected to make a push for the MWC. I’ve stated many times that financials was a huge reason NMSU didn’t get an invite in the first wave (short≈15 million)

Then came the toughest part of this week’s voting: six teams received votes for the four remaining spots. Our voters had different answers, and the combined point totals determined the final order.
Franklin enters at No. 7 with 23 points, just one ahead of Hanks at No. 8. El Dorado joins the rankings at No. 9 with 16 points, and Ysleta rounds out the top ten with 10. Eastlake and Coronado drop out.
