The Changing Face of Financial Fraud and How to Stay Safe -Financial fraud is becoming harder to detect as more people use mobile phones, cards and digital platforms to access financial services. Fraudsters are also changing their methods, using fake websites, social media accounts, phone calls, SMS messages and WhatsApp to trick customers into revealing information that can be used to steal money. In Uganda, the financial impact is already significant. According to the Uganda Police Annual Crime Report, more than Shs 5.3 billion was lost to cybercrime in 2025. This underlines the need for stronger protection by banks, businesses and individuals. businessfocus.co.ug/the-chan…

This is what makes us different from many nursery operators. We are farmers and therefore we know what works better. We know these CWDr varieties better. We can't definitely serve you all, but mind about the source of your planting materials. Do they have a mother garden? 1/2

When You Grow, Uganda Prospers: Customers Reflect on Growth with Pearl Bank -When Christopher Mugwanya started Clever’s Origin Schools in 2005, he had no capital to speak of. What he had was determination and experience as a teacher. Building a school from that starting point would require more than hard work; it would also require financial support to turn an ambition into a sustainable enterprise. Nearly two decades later, Mugwanya says his partnership with Pearl Bank, formerly PostBank, has helped the school expand, overcome setbacks and establish additional branches. @pearlbank_ug @IanFirminho businessfocus.co.ug/when-you…
