As you honor my father today, please honor my mother, as well. She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of @TheKingCenter, which she founded less than three months after Daddy died. Without #CorettaScottKing, there would be no #MLKDay. #MLK #BelovedCommunity

While today’s terrible display of terror and meanness shakes us, let’s remember: @ossoff, Jewish son of an immigrant & @ReverendWarnock, first Black Senator from Georgia, will join a Catholic POTUS & the first woman, Black + Indian VP in our nation’s capital. God bless America.

What we do in these next four days will not just decide the next four years, but the future of this country. Let’s choose hope over fear. I’m counting on you.

LGBTQ rights aren't up for debate. There shouldn't be two sides here. My love doesn't harm you. You know what's harmful? Being denied housing, employment, or legal entry to the hospital your spouse is rushed to. We can debate pineapple on pizza. We won't be debating civil rights.

Dear Breonna Taylor, I haven’t forgotten about you or that you were murdered by Myles Cosgrove, Brett Hankinson and Jonathan Mattingly. You deserve justice and I vow to keep using my voice so that others won’t forget. #JusticeForBreonna

Today, Trump announced that if he is re-elected he will permanently defund Social Security. That may make sense to the billionaires at his country club, but it makes zero sense to me.
No, Mr. President. We will not let you destroy Social Security. We will defeat you – badly.
