You never REALLY know the mettle of a POTUS until he has to navigate a true crisis. Well, Trump had his crisis first term - the COVID pandemic. How’d that work out for the country?
Why on earth does anyone think this would be different.

Two of Trump's fans walked into a Minneapolis polling place in disguise and gave a real voter's name. One election judge didn't buy it. Now they're charged with felonies. Share this so every poll worker working Tuesday knows we've got their back:

The poll workers should claim the 1 million Trump promised for reporting fraud.
I remember!
And this time around Trump has gutted the REAL agencies/departments whose mandate was Election Security/Foreign interference. Now his administration is doing illegal/unconstitutional meddling in state/county election matters and calling it “election security.” 😠
I see that Sergey Lavrov is back in the US. Remember how, “[a]ccording to three former officials with knowledge of the 2017 meeting, Trump told Lavrov and Kislyak he was ‘unconcerned’ about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 election, given the United States ‘did the same in other countries’”?
Remember how Marsha Blackburn, Trump’s 2016 transition vice chair, killed efforts to improve election security before the 2020 election? 1/

🚨 BREAKING: A federal judge has DISMISSED Trump’s defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over its reporting on his alleged birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein.
The judge dismissed the case WITH PREJUDICE, meaning Trump cannot simply refile the lawsuit in the same court.
In a major First Amendment ruling, the judge rejected Trump’s argument that his denials should have prevented the newspaper from publishing its reporting, warning that such a standard would run afoul of the Constitution.
The judge also described the Journal’s reporting as a “thoughtful and detailed investigation” and concluded that Trump’s defamation claims “lack merit.”
The judge left open the possibility that Trump could be ordered to pay the newspaper’s attorneys’ fees.
Trump can appeal, but for now, this is a major legal defeat.

Matthew McConaughey is a Hollywood actor and Texas Republican multimillionaire encouraging people to vote Independent.
Mark Cuban is a billionaire who on occasion does the right thing for the country, and wants more Independents. Cool.
It's easy to be Independent in a two-party system when you benefit from tax cuts for the wealthiest 20%, don't have to worry about healthcare, or grocery prices, or gas prices, or child care, or elderly care, or aging with dignity - or anything.
But real Independents are able to think critically in a two-party system, and make an informed choice not only for their own benefit, but for the betterment of their city, their state, and for those who aren't as fortunate. That's the American vision, a land of freedom and opportunity for all.
When authoritarianism has its knee on America's neck, real independent thinkers know the only vote that matters is to survive.
This isn't the moment for "more" Independents. It's the moment to save our independence.
The choice is clear.
Vote blue.

Good on them! At least some other countries’ leaders have a backbone!

As I said in 2015 and have reiterated periodically since then, having a president (and administration) that LIES like they breathe and operates mostly in secrecy CANNOT BE TRUSTED or HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

If you support this, fuck you.
The trump administration is about to deport more than 150 Afghans back to Taliban controlled Afghanistan.
Some are relatives of people who helped American troops during the war. And because the US has no diplomatic relations with the Taliban, the plan is to fly them to Pakistan, which would send them across the border.
The first flight could leave as soon as
Monday.
We spent 20 years relying on Afghan allies. Now their families could be sent back to the very people they helped us fight.
After that last segment on “The Assignment” sounds like the people who withheld their vote for Kamala and Democrats in 2024 - allowing a declared wannabe dictator to retake the WH - haven’t learned a damn thing! ☹️
