NEW: Bellevue Police are responding to reports of a fatal traffic collision.
Incident occurred at approx. 6:35a at the intersection of NB Bellevue Way SE and SE 30th Street.
This is a long-term closure and includes WB I-90 ramps into the scene. Please seek alternate routes.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Downtown Bellevue will be SIGNIFICANTLY impacted by the WSDOT weekend closure of northbound (NB) I-405 beginning this Friday at 11 p.m. through Monday at 4 a.m. All vehicles traveling on NB I-405 will be detoured to surface streets. See map.
Main Street has reopened and the gas main has been repaired. Note: There is still one lane closed in each direction for construction.
⛔️Road closure: Main Street is currently closed between 110th Avenue NE and 112th Avenue NE. Puget Sound Energy has been dispatched to address a ruptured gas main. Please use alternate routes.

Addressing noise and speeding concerns continues to be priority for the Bellevue Police Department.
Take a look at how officers within BPD's Traffic Unit are taking noise reduction efforts to the next level.
The city is improving safety for those walking & rolling on Lakemont Blvd at SE 58th St. Construction has started on the installation of flashing yellow beacons. 1 lane of Lakemont Blvd will be closed from 7am-6pm for a week. Please use caution.
