Second half of the road trip is a dud: #20 Minnesota (12-6, 6-4 B1G) in full control throughout, rolling past sloppy #21 Washington (15-4, 6-4) in three: 25-17, 25-17, 25-20. Katy Wessels was good (9K on .438, 4 B) but that's it. Got the tough road split, though

All four Husky losses have been sweeps. They're 15-0 as long as they don't get swept. Final homestand of the regular season starts Friday. Three straight must-wins as heavy favorites (Iowa/Maryland/Northwestern) and then closing with the undefeated Cornhuskers on Nov 8

Huskies completely out of sorts on both offense and defense today. Gophers up 2-0 after another 25-17 set win. Hitting just .075 while Minnesota is hitting .333. Multiple diggable balls have gotten sprayed for kills or at least stopping transition offense

Mateska: 31/6/59 (.424), 13 D. It's her new career-high (by 10!) and also the most kills in any Big Ten conference match this year Husky serving started awful (0 aces/5 errors in S1) but was stellar the rest of the way (8 aces/6 errors S2-S5, including match-winner by Fabi)
