All year long, Pat Murphy likened the Brewers' journey toward their first World Series to climbing a mountain.
They finally reached their goal. For the first time in franchise history, the Brewers are on top of the mountain.
"The view is fantastic."

Pat Murphy's first acknowledgements after winning the World Series: Bob Uecker and the state of Wisconsin.
In one sense, it wasn't easy. The Brewers played mostly close games all October.
Yet in another sense, it wasn't close. This team plowed through everything and everyone thrown its way all year. It posted the best record in baseball. It lost only two playoff games. Nothing phased this group.
And now they've reached their ultimate goal. The vision has been realized. The Brewers are World Series champions.
Even with the outing cut short, Misiorowski gave the Brewers exactly what they needed after he seemed to be running out of steam in October.
5 2/3 IP, 2 H, BB, HBP, 2 K
58 strikes/86 pitches
9 whiffs/41 swings (22%)
6 hard hit/17 batted balls (35%)
Jacob Misiorowski appears to have cramped. After attempting a warmup pitch, he's coming out of the game with two outs in the sixth.
Much tighter in a 12-pitch fifth. The Brewers' bullpen is stirring, but nobody is warming with the heart of the order due up a third time.
Misiorowski is through five shutout innings on 74 pitches.
