Classic Holier than thou. Funny coming from a Doctor based in India. Hospitals charge you absurd money for non sensical medications and procedures. WHO has historically changed acceptance threshold for BP medications, but a healthcare product researched in India should follow international standards per them. I hope they apply same standards when they charge their patients.
1. Temporal artery is not a brain artery . It’s an extra cranial artery . 2. If the studies are flawed ( which the science lead at Temple agrees) why are you taking pre orders? 3. All the studies were internally funded, no independent validation done. 4. Again, why are you taking pre orders?

I'm reminded of Torvalds famous quote, "talk is cheap, show me the code". Building things is tough, more so when you quite literally build in the open. I can list hundreds of unscientific products out in the market, quietly supported even by the government. But god forbid, a Tech entrepreneur tries something, even ignoring the fact that it is in the healthcare domain, people rush to pull him down. We need more of Deepinders and less of bickering doctors. May your tribe grow!
Dear Concerned Indian Doctors, I see your rage against Temple on X. I have a few points to make: 1. First and foremost, a business lesson: if Temple were a scam, and any of what we said weren't true, people would know it in just a few days of using Temple. We have 14-day, no-questions-asked returns (which even Apple doesn't offer in India). If the product doesn't work, it fails out of the gate and the company dies before recovering a tenth of its R&D. 2. We have already spent $30m building Temple, $20m out of which is my own money. Selling a few thousand devices recovers a small fraction of this investment. A scam that pays nothing is not a scam anyone would run. 3. I left the Eternal CEO role to chase purpose with Temple. This is not about money. I have enough of it to last for generations. My incentives are fully aligned with getting the science right. I am not staking a reputation earned over 20 years on making a quick buck. 4. Our employees bought into our round a few months ago. The round we're raising now is mostly our customers. Scams don't build that cap table. 5. Most wearable companies start with internal studies. Whoop shipped its band in 2015, and the first published validation followed a few years later. We hold ourselves to a higher standard; pre-prints are a step prior to peer reviewed publications, and they are coming up. 6. At some point you have to stick your neck out and say: we believe in our science, and the product is now valuable enough for people to pay for and use. We believe we are there. More validation continues in public. 7. We are confident that we are building something that the world is going to be positively astonished with. We stand by our science and our methods. Each of our claims is easily verifiable by individuals and institutions alike, and you will see a lot of independent studies come up on their own when the device becomes available to use. Last but not the least, the most ground breaking features in Temple are not even public yet. And some of them, thankfully, have nothing to do with doctors 🤭 Hope this addresses some or all of your concerns. If not, keep raging 😘🤗

Absolute horrendous state of services by Indigo. I'm sure this airline is nearing its end. For the past few months I am seeing a consistent pattern of gouging any last rupee from its customers and then not honouring the services. I'll list down a few 1. Booked a paid seat for my wife traveling alone. Seat changed from front window to middle last at the boarding gate without any justification. My wife was in her first trimester that time. 2. Booked seats for 2 passengers and the seats for changed to two different locations right before boarding. I literally had to pay on top of my already paid seats just so two passengers can sit together. 3. Had to cancel a journey because of a medical emergency. Outright denied waiving off cancellation fee even after producing supporting medical documents. 4. Website showed an upgrade right before web checkin promising to adjust the excess that I already paid during booking. No adjustment, and the previous paid and the upgrade were charged on the whole. These are just a few experiences from traveling with them in the last few months. I have started to avoid them like a plague. I hope the bureaucrats sitting in the aviation ministry are taking a note of it. I am documenting all of these and I plan to drag them to consumer forum and then courts for each and every malpractices they have been doing and plan to expose them to the general public. @IndiGo6E @MoCA_GoI @RamMNK @mohol_murlidhar

Godrej is a well known low quality builder indulging in outright fraudulent practices. Having dealt with them personally, I advise people to stay away from their properties. From struggling to get GST receipts for plotted projects to delayed handover to the cooperative society, buyers are left chasing what they’re owed. We pay on time, then spend months chasing answers and basic obligations. RERA has no actual use anywhere. And to top it off, In 2026, we’re still fighting for clean air, reliable water, walkable footpaths and public parks. We pay taxes, pay a premium to private developers, and then fight to get what was promised. Probably the Amrit Kaal we were waiting for since 2014.
The worst investment I did is buying a property of Godrej- big brand bigger, bigger fraud. Bought a property in 2023, they told we will get possession in 2026 mid, forget the possession, they are telling they want to add additional floors and that too 8-9 floors, without adding any extra plot to the project. From past 3 months the CRMs has bullied, disturbed, bribed and what not for us to sign the consent form to modify the RERA, as a person who works a full time job, this kind of harassment takes a toll on mental health, as now I am paying full EMI and possession not sure when they are going to give(maybe 2028(Rera date)), the constructions they have left in mid. For Phase1 owners also they are pushing the handover deadline. This is so disappointing! and now I am stuck, so whenever you decide to buy a property in Godrej, think 100 times before.

Yeah lol Tier 3 has nothing to do with a basic hygiene expected of a responsible entity. Anyway most Indian govt contracts are basically a bureaucrat awarding it to a known entity or to an entity owned by their family. Story of every other Indian govt contract.
Gross incompetency from Indian certificate authority eMudhra. You had one job: generate a 384 bit private keys and instead you used: 4, 56, 66, 115, 155, 156, 230, and 237. This allows attackers to issue certificates for any websites. Embarrassing that it’s a family business run by largely computer illiterate people. Only 1 of the 3 have a remotely computer-related background and even they never actually worked a technical job in their life. If you look at the LinkedIn, their tech team is young, from tier 3 education and paid sort of bottom barrel. Imagine how many attacks you can design with AI given the existence of this genre of gross negligence.

Elon, as usual, is using his platform to shape public opinion and potentially pressure the Indian government into opening market to Starlink. What he fails to understand is that India can't be governed by online narratives. It's far too large and complex to be swayed by an oligarch pushing his own agenda.

This is how irrelevant and useless political class has become. Out of touch withpublic sentiments. India needs a change and now.

The disconnect between India’s political class and general public is starkly visible in this tweet. The responses should be setting off alarm bells, yet they’re easily ignored when political interests take priority. Only a civil uprising can make things work for India.
Why not Pune? Joined a brainstorming session (virtually) with GCC leaders and industry experts to discuss Pune’s journey towards becoming a leading Global GCC Hub. With its exceptional talent, innovation ecosystem and strong industry base, Pune has immense potential. We are committed to addressing industry needs, enabling investments and creating the right ecosystem for faster growth. Pune is ready to take the next big leap! #Maharashtra #Pune

The Indian govt’s U turn on MDR for UPI coming so close to Apple’s launch definitely raises questions. The timing makes you wonder whether there was some US govt pressure behind the scenes?

Universities worldwide have far stricter rules on plagiarism and unfair academic practices than IITs, including the misuse of AI. I’ve seen these rules evolve from the pre AI era to today. But the quantum of punishment is not the larger issue. What we need students to understand is that academics is never a do or die situation. Professors and especially parents must build a culture where learning is enjoyable, setbacks are survivable, and changing direction is normal. Interests evolve, fields evolve. Students may discover that they simply don’t enjoy the course they once chose, CS has seen a decline among University students. The Indian education system needs far greater flexibility to change streams, transfer credits, or even change degrees midway. Geoffrey Hinton did his undergrad in experimental psychology.
A few thoughts on the IITB tragedy. First, exam cheating is not a minor offence in a serious academic institution. Neither is a 19-year old a kid whom the professor has to mould. Foreign universities have far harsher penalties than IITB. I personally saw a guy get expelled from a prominent French b-school and also lose his visa because of a cheating incident. Unlike cases of academic pressure, there is intent here. Second, there has to be due process to investigate the matter. The invigilator/professor has no right to threaten ANY consequence. Their job is to report the case and allow an impartial enquiry. Third, there is a serious problem if this is the fourth student suicide this calendar year (9 months so far). The institution needs a serious audit on how it functions. Fourth, it is sad to see how generative AI is wreaking havoc on people. This is no better than a narcotic epidemic systematically destroying societies or homes. Do better than ChatGPT.

Funny you deliver incomplete items and then after raising a request you ask me to call restaurant or mail you? Seriously? Order ID 8626360639 @zomato

Perfect example of how food delivery companies have a free hand on collecting arbitrary amounts as tax with no accountability and checks. Swiggy here justifies charging GST on original amount after literally giving away the item for pennies.

@adi_daga Thank you. GST was calculated on the original price, Aditya. ^Ashwin

Scratch beneath the surface of many “government backed” startups and the conflicts of interest are staggering. Contracts and hackathons conveniently land with firms linked to bureaucrats or their families. Most famous of it being Digi Yatra
This is the reality and quality of the startups MeitY is promoting. They’re lying about data sovereignty too - I was able to access their full infrastructure and found sensitive court data being processed on production servers based in Japan.

State of affairs of the so called best Police department. Every response in this thread is a blunt shrug off and asking the user to simply call the other person. This continues until you reach a thulla who takes 100rs under the table and closes the case. Bravo mumbai police

I see a dark pattern with Indigo. I book paid seats and meal and they move my seats right before departure. 2 people booked on a PNR are then made to sit 10 rows apart. IndiGo is falling apart in services. And I wish them doom if it continues with this shady pattern. @IndiGo6E
