Last day of @PlanetComicon in KC! I’ll be wandering artist alley a bit, and also sitting at Table 3725 next to @jerhaun if you wanna stop by and say hi. Happy to look at portfolios too. Happy Sunday!
On my way to Kansas City for @PlanetComicon this weekend! So excited to be back at this amazing show. What a guest list this year! I’ll be reviewing portfolios all three days, table number and times to be announced shortly. Hope to see some of you there!

COVER OF THE WEEK! Printing problems made the SENSATIONAL foil cover for SENSATIONAL SHE-HULK #1 arrive a week late. @AH_AdamHughes did an UNBELIEVABLE job with it. My first foil cover in years and maybe the best I've worked on? By worked on, I mean I said, YOU ARE GREAT, ADAM!
Heads up to the Marvel fans at @LuccaCandG, starting today I’ll have ultra rare editions (only 25 copies printed) of Amazing Spider-Man 29 and Avengers 6 that I’ll be giving out to super fans I spot around the festival all week!
Last year, we hired five new Italian artists after portfolio reviews at Lucca Comics & Games, a record for any show since I started scouting talent. So yes, of course I'll be looking for new talent again at the con this week! Hope to see many of you in Tuscany in a few days.
What do Frank Miller, John Romita Jr., Adi Granov, Steve McNiven, Elena Casagrande & Lucas Werneck all have in common? They'll be on the MARVEL FANFARE panel today at 1:45pm in Room 405 at #NYCC!! Legends, Young Guns & Stormbreakers discussing the history of Marvel comics & art!

This weekend I flew out to see Paul Smith and I scanned some art. Had fun catching up and talking about old movies and art. but the most fun was looking at all of his original art, it was truly a sight to behold. Down the line we'll see some books. I'm excited as hell!

The end of July/beginning of August is a good time for me. Thor 337 and Beta Ray Bill dropped 40 years ago today. Yesterday the 51st anniversary of my coming to NYC to try to get into comics. July 31st was the 50th anniversary of Detective Comics 437, first Manhunter story.
Unfortunately, like so many of my comic colleagues, I also came home from San Diego with Covid, so will not be at @ItsTerrifiCon this weekend. Hope everyone going to the CT show has a blast and enjoys the incredible line-up of guests. Be sure to get a clam & bacon pie at Pepe's!

The X-men Hellfire Gala 2023 was almost too much. I’m speechless. This is indeed an unforgettable can’t miss turning point. If you’ve been away for a bit pick this up this week, don’t look up spoilers. You’ll remember where you were when you read this one. previewsworld.com/Catalog/MA…
X-Men Hellfire Gala hits tomorrow! No one is ready for this. It’s a game changer for our once merry mutants. As @bleedingcool says, “It is glorious, it is hideous, it is wonderful. There will be tears, there will be screams, there will be sensational dresses.” You’ve been warned.
