Q: Des ennemis dotés d’un pouvoir absolu, presque cheaté, comme Baraggan ou Gremmy, apparaissent régulièrement, et à ma première lecture je me suis plusieurs fois dit : « Mais comment on peut gagner contre ça ?! »
Vous est-il arrivé, en dessinant, de penser que si ça continuait comme ça, vos personnages ne pourraient peut-être pas gagner ?
K: Pour ce genre d’ennemis, au moment où je décide de leur pouvoir, je fixe aussi leur faille, ou plutôt, dans les grandes lignes, la façon de les battre. Après, il ne reste plus qu’à savoir jusqu’où la mise en scène va plonger les lecteurs dans le désespoir… mais mettre en scène le désespoir, c’est plutôt quelque chose que j’aime bien dessiner…
