To observe #WorldWhiteCaneDay, our team at Malsawm Ability Resource Centre (MARC) took part in an experiential white cane simulation walk, learning firsthand how individuals with visual impairments navigate everyday spaces.
Under the @NABARDOnline TRIBES Project, our MHI & Livelihood teams hosted an interactive Health Camp at St. Mary’s School, Behiang Village, centering student wellness & emotional resilience.
Over 200 community members gathered at Nute’ Bazar, New Lamka, as our Mental Health Initiative team observed #WorldMentalHealthDay 2026 under the theme: “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change.” 🕯️

Our CDC Chandel team recently visited CRISIL Foundation to establish an impactful collaboration!
Through this initiative, the foundation will assist children with disabilities in opening dedicated bank accounts, unlocking access to vital government schemes and entitlements.
CDC, Chandel, we proudly support 40 children with disabilities through tailored special education, speech, OT, PT, and group activities.

In observance of #SignLanguageDay, Class XII learners Chiinkhawlching & Daisy Phalthiankim led a hands-on Indian Sign Language session for our team and Rayburn College interns.
From foundational signs to a campus-wide non-verbal challenge, we put true inclusion into practice.
Under Project Mindlink, supported by @PetronetLNGLtd LNG Limited, our MHI team visited partner schools V K Tawna High School & NLUPS (Govt School) for mental health awareness sessions.
Engaging barefoot counsellors, we opened supportive spaces on emotional well-being & care.
Educators from VK Tawna High, Little Gems Academy, and NLUPS came together to sharpen classroom skills, share experiences, and advance inclusive education for every learner.

From compering by Jangmonchung to inclusive sign interpretation by Paulamlun, Miss Thanching & Daisy, every moment was led with love.
Staff of TMI took part in an in-house learning session on "Reflex Integration" at MARC, Pearsonmun.
Led by Ms. Goungaihlun & Ms. Manhauching, the session focused on sensory-motor development and practical techniques to better support children with diverse needs.

Over 60 community members attended our Disability Awareness & UDID Assessment Camp at Chakpikarong, where 15+ persons with disabilities enrolled for their UDID cards on the spot.
Organized by CDC Chandel under CCI, with Chakpikarong Youth Club & support from @SBIFoundation.
CCI joined EBC Lamka North Division for a seminar on healthy digital habits, screen time, child development, and practical Family Digital Plans, reaching 300+ participants.
And highlighting the importance of early identification and timely support.
