CCJ strives to facilitate respectful dialogue and not divisive debate. We’re concerned about the rhetoric & division on X and will therefore be using this platform less frequently. You can receive regular updates about our work through our newsletter: ccj.org.uk/node/356

ALT An image featuring a text titled "A Prayer for Holocaust Memorial Day". The prayer reads: Eternal God, we come before You to remember the victims of the Holocaust. We lament the loss of the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust, the millions of other victims of Nazi persecution, and victims of all genocides. As we remember and lament all those whose lives have been lost, help us to work for a better future today. We pray for a day when all shall be free to live in peace, unity and love. Amen.
CCJ welcomes the appointment of the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally DBE as the next Archbishop of Canterbury and looks forward to working with her on interfaith dialogue and building a more just and harmonious society.
The attack on the synagogue in Manchester on the holiest day in the Jewish year is horrifying. Our thoughts are with all affected: the victims first and foremost, the Jewish community in Manchester in particular and around the UK, and all who responded quickly and bravely

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Pope Leo XIV. Pope Leo XIV spoke of bridge building and dialogue – values which resonate deeply with our vision and values at CCJ. In this new period of leadership, we send our prayers and best wishes to all within the Catholic Church.
Today we mourn the death of His Holiness Pope Francis.
In his last address, on Easter Day, he spoke of 'love triumphing over hatred', that ‘peace is possible’ and of his concern for antisemitism.
His teaching, humanity and compassion resonated deeply with our work in CCJ.

Thank you, @SaraRad67 . Tragically, this work of education is needed today more than any other time since the Holocaust. Thank you being a partner in it!
I attended the joint @CCJUK & @shofarbymenorah 25th inspiring, thoughtful, educational and uplifting annual Holocaust education day. Speakers included 2nd generation @stuartferster_ who told the story of how his father survived five concentration camps.
