Shoutout to Coach Savoy, Coach @GrimsleyBrewer, and Coach @CoachKenworthyE for integrating line dancing into PE today! I loved that they immediately applied what they learned from the @CCShealthy district PD this week! #JGMSPirates #PiratePotential
The CCS Health and PE teachers participated in a system-wide professional development event today, which featured several engaging sessions.
Healthful Living PD was an exciting journey! We dove into Youth Culture embraced Making Proud Choices, had a blast with Omnikin Games, and energized ourselves at Dance Boot Camp. @CumberlandCoSch
A family reunion of sorts at the CCS Summer Leadership Conference. It was great seeing the Westside family. Although we are no longer at Westover, Once a Wolverine, Always a Wolverine! #WeAreCCS
Gratitude Tuesday:
Stay in contact with family and friends.
However busy you may be, find time to check in with someone who matters to you. A quick text can give you a sense of connection and support.
Wellness Wednesday Tip:
Take a short break at least once a day.
Step away from your computer, even for just a few minutes, and do something that energizes you. You'll return with renewed focus and purpose.
Elementary PE teachers enjoyed themselves today in PD learning ropes skills and watching our presenter Nick Woodard @Learnintherope show his skills!
Great PD for Elementary PE teachers today with our guest presenter Nick Woodard @Learnintherope
February is American Heart Month. Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year. With education 80% of these events may be prevented.
Let's be encouraged to focus on our cardiovascular health. @CDCHeart_Stroke
