I joined @gcaflcio and IAM for the Houston Workers vs. Billionaires: Rally & Block Walk to let folks know what’s at stake this election. If we take back the United States House and the Senate, we can put Donald Trump’s radical and expensive agenda in check. We can rebuild momentum for pro-worker policies and lay the foundation to elect a champion for working people to the White House in 2028.

Silly season is in full swing. Ken Paxton is now blaming Talarico and AOC (??) for the rising cost of groceries, rent, and insurance in Texas. Republicans have controlled Texas for 30 years. They hold the White House, the Senate, and the House. They launched a trade war and an actual war, and they cut insurance premium subsidies. Voters aren’t stupid.

We need a U.S. Senator from Texas who will stop Trump’s dismantling of the Department of Education. If for no other reason than our students will know the difference between Cypress (a community in Texas) and Cyprus (a country on the other side of the world). Vote @jamestalarico

Last week I visited the Donald Trump - Jeffery Epstein Memorial Reading Room. It holds a known timeline, more than 3,400 volumes of files, and messages to survivors. Republicans in Congress won’t investigate the Epstein files and expose how the wealthy and well-connected conspired to abuse girls and women, but @redactedreading is bringing the truth directly to the community.

This Republican nominee for statewide office in Texas is a racist who has made bigoted statements multiple times. All Republican officials in Texas should be condemning this. The University of Texas is a fantastic institution and its students represent the best of Texas.

Black folks deserve media that speaks to us from our perspective, addressing our issues, about what's really at stake. At #ALC55, I'm sitting down with @angela_rye , @keithboykin , @dossdiscourse , and @booker_squared to talk about where Black media is headed, how these systems engage with Black audiences, and how creators are building the trust that legacy press has lost. Republicans own all that. And on November 3, Texans are going to vote them out.
