Today is the day! The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, ECHO Collective, Catholic Social Services, and Lutheran Family Services present a special free screening of the documentary. Tickets are available at the Ross Theater box office in advance or at the door. #cehsglobal

Days 9, 10, 11 - we visited museums: Design, Architecture, and Sports Museums. They presented on projects comparing various Finnish cultural aspects. And a day trip to Turku where we learned about intercultural competency. And a mad-dash #homealone style to the train station!

Days 7 and 8 - One of our students ran the Helsinki Half Marathon! The rest of the weekend included the Botanic Gardens, and a birthday. We found out one of us REALLY likes hockey. 🏒 Also, a group visit to a UNESCO WHS, Suomenlinna Fortress, a former Finnish garrison.

Day 6 - Visited the Finland National Museum, and Tiedekoulu: a type of "after school" program about STEM topics with hands-on activities. And then, at the end of a beautiful day in Helsinki, a traditional Finnish group dinner. Good job, Helsinki. @NatMuseum_FI @UNL_CEHS

Day 5 - Return to Helsinki and met at the Oodi Central Library for a book review assignment. Excellent discussion on observations of Finnish culture compared to what we learn about in the USA. @TheOodie @UNL_CEHS #cehsisglobal

Day 3 - after a night train sleep, explored Pyhä-Luosto National Park in the #arcticcircle Learned about glacial landscape features and the history of the area. Tried reindeer, and saw reindeer! (we're pretty sure they were different reindeer😬) #cehsisglobal @unl_cehs @unltlte
