An agent that runs entirely on a Mac and only touches the cloud when you approve it is the right default for sensitive work. P&Ls and contracts are exactly where I want that control.
Shared tasks that run on a schedule and don't depend on one person remembering them are where AI earns its keep. A weekly ops recap across our restaurants is the first one I'd hand off.
A shared playbook for containing and monitoring AI agents is the unglamorous work that makes them safe to deploy. Before an agent touches our POS or payroll, I want to know exactly what it can reach and who's watching it.
AI agents need fast tool calls and security controls they can’t rewrite.
NVIDIA OpenShell Reference Architecture combines the compute to run agents at scale with runtime controls that govern their access to tools and data.
See how the hardware and software work together: nvda.ws/4BiJBfY
Voice agents that can hold a natural conversation and look things up mid-call are getting close to ready for phone orders. I want to see one handle a lunch rush before I trust it with ours.
OpenAI on Google Cloud means one more place to swap models without signing new contracts. For operators, the real win is buying frontier AI on the cloud bill you already have.
Today, we're bringing OpenAI models to Google Cloud's model garden.
We're now the only hyperscale cloud provider offering access to all three leading closed source LLMs—alongside 200+ other models—on a unified enterprise platform → goo.gle/4zJ0VZQ
At hundreds of thousands of GPUs, one slow machine can hold up an entire training run. Reliability is the unglamorous part of AI at scale, and it's the same lesson for anyone putting AI into daily operations.
We trained our Muse foundational models, including Muse Wonder, at Prometheus, our gigawatt-scale supercluster in New Albany, Ohio.
Across a supercluster with hundreds of thousands of GPUs, even one underperforming host can slow an entire training run. We engineered Prometheus for resilience at scale, achieving 85%+ goodput on pretraining, 90%+ on reinforcement learning and ~47K GPU hours mean time between interruptions during Muse Wonder training.
Take a look at the tech powering Prometheus: go.meta.me/4yXXApZ
Germany is betting its next decade of manufacturing on industrial AI, with NVIDIA as the backbone. The real test is whether it moves from summit announcements to everyday factory floors.
Germany knows how to build, and now it’s bringing that expertise to industrial AI. 🇩🇪
Tonight in Berlin, @JensenHuang and Chancellor @_FriedrichMerz discussed combining German engineering with NVIDIA AI to advance manufacturing and automotive.
We’re also backing Germany’s builders, with new planned investments in Agile Robots SE, @aveliosmed, @MireloAI, and @reflexaerospace, spanning robotics, healthcare, creative tools, and space.
Meet the companies and catch up on today’s news from Berlin: blogs.nvidia.com/blog/german…
Anthropic is giving critical open-source projects free AI security scans, and it already found a serious bug in curl. Attackers are using AI agents now, so defenders need the same tools. I'd rather our vendors find their holes before someone else does.
We launched OSS Scanner, which gives critical open source projects free, periodic vulnerability scans from our strongest models.
Each finding includes a proof-of-concept, and a patch where possible.

The price of running AI agents keeps dropping. Cheap only helps if the work is right, so I'd test this on real workflows and check the error rate before moving anything that matters.
MiniMax M3.1 Flash: Space Performance + Bunny Speed
🚀🐰 Yes, Space Bunny - which has topped global leaderboards with 200T+ tokens - was an earlier version of M3.1 Flash.
💰Redefining the performance economics of agentic AI. M3.1 Flash achieves frontier-level intelligence across key tasks such as Cowork (Automation-Bench: 62%; ALE: 30%), Coding (DeepSWE: 74%) and Visual Reasoning (BabyVision: 91%), at 1/3 the cost of M3 and 3x the speed.
API pricing (flat rate): $0.15 / $0.60 per 1M input/output tokens, with cache reads at $0.015 / 1M tokens.
Model weights will arrive on Oct 23.

Microsoft's new controls can cut an AI agent's permissions, require human approval, or shut it down as its risk rises. That's the right model: give agents only the access the task needs and keep the off switch outside the model.

Marcus Aurelius never found the art of living in wealth, fame or indulgence. He found it in acting on good principles. Justice, self-control, courage and freedom are still the best place I know to look.

Tenstorrent raised $1.5B to scale servers that run open-weight models on-prem. More real alternatives to Nvidia should mean cheaper inference for the rest of us, and that's what I care about.
We raised $1.5B to deploy Galaxy globally.
Thanks to our lead investors Trace Capital and Innovation X for backing that growth.

Marcus Aurelius said that if you're good, straightforward, and well meaning, it should show in your eyes. Before calling someone a false friend, it's worth asking if we talk about people the same way when they're not around.

Anthropic is putting 5% of its shares into a public benefit fund and named AI's impact on workers as one focus. With a workforce like ours, that's the question I want AI vendors taking seriously.
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

OpenAI now lets GPT-6 Pro split one task across several agents working in parallel. The bottleneck shifts from doing the work to reviewing it, and that's the habit I want our team building now.
GPT-6 Astra Pro in ChatGPT got an upgrade with faster responses and improved use of plugins and tools.
And now, multiple agents can tackle different parts of a task in parallel. You can follow each agent’s progress and open completed tasks to review their work.
Now available to Pro users in the Chat tab.
JPMorgan is keeping consumer AI agents out of customer accounts, and it won't be the last. Agents that book, bank or order for you will need real permission and identity, not screen scraping, and that's how we're thinking about our own ordering channels.

Anthropic is bringing Opaque's confidential computing team in house. If Claude can prove what ran and where on sensitive data, that's what gets payroll and guest data into AI workflows at companies like ours.

Epictetus said to set a good habit against a bad one. You rarely beat a bad habit by fighting it head-on. You beat it by giving yourself something better to do in that same moment.

Seneca said wherever there is a human being, we have an opportunity for kindness. That includes people who can't do a thing for us. Kindness doesn't need a reason or a return, just the habit of noticing who's in front of you.

Black Forest Labs dropped an open image model that runs on a single consumer GPU. Fine for menu and promo drafts on our own hardware, but we're over the $5M revenue free tier, so I'd license it before anything customer-facing.
