surprised its lost on so many that there’s a very large middle ground between starting every week and being frozen out of getting any minutes behind a not firing front line
Clubs better than us would give Estevao much more opportunity than we currently are, stop kidding yourself
Thought he was great last night and actually thought he was pretty good against Spurs too (minus the mistake, of course).
Of all the new recruits, he's the one I'm least worried about, wouldn't be surprised he's starting come the end of the season
Unfortunately some of this falls down when he's behind Quenda in the pecking order despite more PL experience.
He shouldn't be starting every game but the fact he's not even getting 20-30 minutes to prove himself in games we could benefit from having him is ridiculous
It is understood Estevao's limited role under Alonso is not the result of a fall-out, and purely down to tactical and technical decisions.
Chelsea’s manager has hinted that the physicality of the Premier League is a contributing factor while promising greater chances as the season progresses.
External sources have confided that his situation is piquing interest within Premier League and European circles.

If everyone was flying and he wasn't able to get into the team then fairs, that's the struggles of being at a big club but that isn't the case - we're in that dangerous territory where people are amplifying negatives to a huge degree to justify what is an unjustifiable omission
Not overly fussed about the result last night, a kick away from winning away at Anfield with big players missing isn't the end of the world - however it has confirmed that we need to be absolutely surgical with some departures and additions in the summer
the whole Estevao thing feels like a point is trying to be proved but I can't for the life of me work out what point that is.
that penalty sums up everything i've seen of Emegha, he quite literally struggles to kick a football
Ultimately, it's one game, but it's shown some of the most worrying things that I hate in managers.
Stubbornness through things that clearly aren't working, over complicated 'solutions' when simpler ones exist, passively watching a game go wrong.
Needs to course correct quickly
What the fuck has this been from Alonso?
Literally got every decision wrong, players out of position, refusing to play a striker when it's clear it's not working
One of the worst managerial displays i've seen in a long, long time and we've had a lot to choose from recently

Don't care. Only total fucking losers care about retroactively awarded titles.

no thanks, have zero desire in any retrospective trophies we didn’t actually win being awarded.
You don’t get the moment, the highlights to watch back, it doesn’t mean anything.
Just wipe that years record and let’s all move on

umm, that's just a definite red?
🚨𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗘: Declan Rice lost his cool. Did this challenge on Malick Yalcouyé warrant a red card? xitter.gq/csabesz30/status/21013…
understand the emotional response, some criticisms absolutely justified and amplified by early season hopes but we're GW5 into a new system with key players missing.
Doesn't excuse results nor suggest improvement isn't needed but reactions are a bit OTT for me.
but yeah, if you add even 2 of JP, Caicedo, Palestra, Reece back into the mix then it's likely a very different outcome.
Hell, even Emegha who I don't rate at all atleast gives you another option rather than Welbeck for 90 or Rogers/Palmer having to adapt into SS
