The original art includes Woody Guthrie’s fascist killing guitar, shop owners Chuck Galante’s interpretation of the insignia for Italy’s Arditi Del Popolo—one of the first anti-fascist organizations, and iconic anti-racist symbols, like the swastika going into the trash.

SATURDAY!!! Buffalo Creative Workshop founder Tim Solinski and I will lead a hands-on All-Ages Zine Workshop, starting at 2 PM. Participants will learn about some of the history of this unique artform which has long been a bastion of free expression, before making a zine.

Just by its nature, a drag show is a direct revolt against the current regime but the added political skewering will make this event REBELLION SQUARED. For an additional middle finger to the powers that be, the flyer for the event is a parody of the cover for Project 2025.
A digital flyer which is almost the same as the first, but has less details, which looks even more like the cover design for “Project 2025”.
