On 29th September, the Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai participated in the "Women Special Job Fair" inaugurated by Hon. CM Fadnavis at SNDT Women's University. Our booth provided information of career opportunities in Japan to hundreds of female students across Mumbai.

On 6 Sep, Consul-General Ms. Hitomi SATO participated in the cooking demo organized by Indo-Japanese Association Mumbai. Japanese residents in Mumbai learnt how to cook Murgh Methi Masala (Chicken Masaka with Fenugreek Leaves) & taking recipes to try the dish again at their homes
Delighted to pay a courtesy call visit to Ms. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development, Employment & Innovation Department, Government of Maharashtra. Discussed strengthening people-to-people ties between Japan and India.
From 16 to 18 September, a delegation of ILO Parliamentary League visited Mumbai. The delegation, led by Senator Ms. Mizuho Fukushima @mizuhofukushima, also included Senators Mr. Ryuji Satomi @satomi_ryuji, Mr. Michihiro Ishibashi, Ms. Mami Tamura and Ms. Mari Takagi @TakagiMari.
The delegation also participated in a workshop organized by the ILO New Delhi @ILONewDelhi related to the ILO Project funded by the Government of Japan. The workshop provided an overview of Project implementation for informal workers in plastic recycling sector.
As part of the visit, the delegation, accompanied by CG Sato, toured the facility of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Kaushalya Vikas Kendra. They gained an insight into the capacity-building initiatives undertaken with various industry partners including a Japanese language training.
