Check out the latest paper from IVL on probabilistic representations and Feature Distribution Learning (FDL) as a method to investigate such representations empirically.
Our new theoretical paper just published in Cognition: "What kind of empirical evidence is needed for probabilistic mental representations? An example from visual perception."

IVL paper alert! We are very proud of this one.
My favourite paper with @SHansmann_Roth, @arni_kr, & David Whitney on ensemble representations is online! It shows that explicit judgments of visual ensembles are limited and have little in common with how these ensembles are represented for behavior.
