Trump doesn't deserve a novel peace price because he can't even keep his own people safe.
Assassinations, murders, using military against the countries own citizens, bombing Venezuelan boats, threatening Mexico and Canada, losing thousands of immigrants, causing RAPE of women.
The #GazaGenocide has been a STAIN on the #UnitedStates and on #Democrats on particular.
It doesn't go away by a ceasefire that continues the apartheid that got us here in the first place.
I'll give kudos when Israel stops murdering Palestinians.

Recent polls (released Oct 5-7, 2025) on blame for the government shutdown:
- Harvard CAPS/Harris (Oct 1-2, 2,413 voters): 53% blame Republicans, 47% Democrats; 70% oppose shutdown.
- CBS/YouGov (Oct 1-3, 2,441 adults): 39% blame Trump/GOP, 30% Democrats, 31% both.
- Morning Consult (Oct 3-5): 43% blame Republicans in Congress, 38% Democrats.
Sources vary; some show more blame on GOP, others closer.
So @MikeJohnson is refusing to open the government "because the government is closed"... He's refusing to bring back Republicans "because the government is closed". He can't go and weed out a deal "because the government is closed".

Reality check: DHS says 37 people were arrested, and only two were suspected gang members.

DHS states agents were rammed and boxed in by ~10 vehicles, one driven by the armed woman with a semi-automatic weapon; they fired defensive shots. She drove to a hospital; no agents hurt. DHS claims she doxxed agents online.
