Even his “semi-retirement” video is better than anyone else. Ernie is flat out the best studio host in the history of sports television, probably all of TV. And one of my 3 or 4 broadcasting idols. Also a truly good and great man who, by the way, loves his @tcm movies.

Didn’t have to click in to know who it was—was on the set of a short film that shot at the mansion almost 15 years ago and they were hosting a screening (iirc of the movie FLIGHT) and he was absolutely in attendance and, yeah, lurking lol
