Strange happenings in Y4 @CKingsleys this morning. Walked in to find a hole in the floor. Needed the class to try and solve the mystery. Had Pudsey #CIN2021 been trapped down the hole. After break a tunnel appeared. How was the Queen of Hearts ♥️ involved? Great work produced.

What a year! What a class! My class @CKingsleys have made me so proud everyday and I am honoured to have been able to be their teacher this year. They have made me laugh and dance and their kind words (and those of their parents) have made my eyes leak. Happy Summer Holidays all!

The end of a busy half term full of amazing successes for my class @CKingsleys This week they have wowed me with their fabulous Journey presentations. The passion and confidence while presenting and the interest and curiosity of the audience was magical. Thank you for teaching me

Sound clouds and the sunlight off the glitter-ball. A magical way to find my classroom @CKingsleys this morning.

Gauguin’s @CKingsleys Grateful Alphabet as part of their Worship reflection. They found so much to be grateful for-wonder, you, vaccines & village life, friends, stories, mums, dads, grandparents, pets, kindness-to name a few. I’m grateful they are my class and we are together!❤️

My class impress me everyday. Today the children in school wowed me with the development of their cricket skills with @sbucksey over the last 6 weeks. Then our first P4C Teams session using The Same Boat poem showed me what caring, deep thinking children I am lucky to work with!

Had the most amazing email from a parent forwarded from the Boss to say such positive things about both the Y4 and YR teams. It was an act of kindness that has made us feel warm inside in these difficult times for all.

After a busy 4 days thinking about Children’s Mental Health awareness week I am putting together a Spotify playlist of my class’ choice of ‘Happy’ songs and they have had the desired effect on me. Thank you Gauguin @CKingsleys - just a few more to add and find.

When a load of your class come to the final Teams Meeting of the week wearing Ancient Egyptian ‘Death Masks’ you know it has been another great week in Gauguin @CKingsleys Proud to be their teacher.

It was Egyptian Art afternoon on Disco Friday(or Funky Friday as it might be in the future) in Gauguin Class & Gauguin Home with some amazing results. Painting portraits on 'home' or 'class' made papyrus. Great to see all the great art work on our final Teams meeting of the week

What an eventful day in Year 4 today. Christmas jumper day, lunch and a party. Our Elf has been in quarantine for 14 days & today she was swinging from the disco ball. What will tomorrow bring? She did however organise an elf delivery the presents from the class' naughty friends

It has been a strange but very exciting day in Gauguin. A whole appeared in the classroom and then a tunnel and then playing cards everywhere. This is what teaching is all about. Superb work produced by every child today as well.

A shame that we can't share the special day together to remember. Remembering how proud I was of the CKS pupils last year and the respect they showed.

So the 1st half term of a new school year done. It has been awesome. Gauguin @CKingsleys have made me laugh, smile and feel so proud to be their teacher so many times over the last 7 weeks. Here's to a halfterm holiday where everyone rests up and stays safe.

I am enjoying teaching my class so much. Marking their descriptive settings in their writing journals make me so proud of how much they have progressed so far. I know we are the lucky ones. 100% attendance for my class this week. #lovemyjob @CKingsleys
