Prop G is the #1 issue for large commuter families in west side - we are not able to keep low earning physical jobs or run our homes effectively. Great Highway has a big impact to our existence. Hope you understand the lived experience and vote Yes on G to give us a chance in SF.
CADC joins Yes on G to expand Great Highway for commute during weekdays to support everyday people to get to work & take care of their families, maintain park/beach access 24/7 & car-free on weekends. Prop G= pedestrian safety in the neighborhoods & on Great Highway. #YesonG

I am running for the Board of Education because SFUSD gave me my start, and I want to guarantee every child gets that exact same chance.
As the son of an undocumented immigrant struggling with a speech impediment, my public school teachers saw strengths in me I hadn’t found yet. Their investment changed the course of my life—leading to Harvard, a career in biotech, and my work overseeing over $1 billion in school construction funds as Vice Chair of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee.
But right now, good intentions at the district level aren’t translating into results in the classroom. We need to turn plans into action.
If elected, I am making three core promises to SFUSD families:
Deliver what we promise: Set clear goals for literacy and attendance, and hold district management accountable for actually following through.
Invest where learning happens: Protect classroom staffing and timely student support while heavily scrutinizing central-office growth and outside contracts.
Make enrollment work: Create a simpler, fairer, and more predictable assignment system driven by real family feedback.
Every budget, every policy, and every decision eventually reaches a child. You have three votes for School Board this November. I’m asking for one of them to help get SFUSD back on track. 🗳️

14th Amendment guarantees birthright citizenship & equal protections - that’s what immigrants believed for 128 years since Wong Kim Ark landmark case in 1898 - the basis of our way of life. US Supreme Court’s decision ensured the diversity and vibrancy of our community.

Today, I signed legislation to support 112,000 San Francisco kids, families, seniors, and workers whose SNAP benefits were disrupted by the federal government shutdown.
Over the past two weeks, these San Franciscans who rely on SNAP have been told repeatedly that they would finally get the assistance they need—but Washington denied them again and again. In San Francisco, we have had our neighbour’s backs the whole time.
With $9.1 million in City funding—matched by Crankstart for a total of $18 million—we moved quickly to make sure families can put food on the table. Nearly half of eligible households have already accessed their grocery cards. If you receive SNAP benefits and need assistance, call SFHSA at (855) 355-5757. Thank you to the Board of Supervisors and all our partners for acting quickly.
