Crystal Palace is a vital facility for the local community and London’s performance athletes. Our Chair, @AHarrisonSwim, recently wrote to the GLA to emphasise why it’s important that the centre continues to be able to provide training facilities for the Olympians of the future.
HUGE thank you @elliereeves for championing #CPNSC and what the centre means locally, and to so many aquatics club's, and Londoners, and in inspiring the next generation of atheletes!
We also need to explore options to help in preparations for #Paris2024 in opening #CPNSC pools.

5⃣ x 50m pools needed in London, &
📢“it is essential that the two existing two major competition centres at London Aquatic Centre, Stratford and the National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace continue to operate.”
URGENT mitigation measures needed if CPNSC pools closed for YEARS.

Good to speak to @itvnews today about the importance of keeping our 50m pool and diving pool open at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. We cannot let down a generation of future athletes by failing to provide them with the facilities they desperately need.
