An important part of our role is to patrol the #schools around #Nottingham keeping them as #safe as we can. 7 patrols were carried out today and 2 PCNs given for dangerous parking around them

60% of penalties issued were to vehicles parked in #accessible spaces, closely followed by pay to park areas
7 of the retained badges were expired. The oldest being used expired March 2020
80% of the misuse & abuse was found in the City Centre

🔹#BlueBadge checks in June found 47 cases of abuse, incl 7 cancelled (2 used when the person has died), 25 expired & 1 fake.
8 cases of misuse recorded🔹
🔹36 fines were issued
🔹13 badges seized

We've teamed up today with @DVLAgovuk for a crackdown on untaxed vehicles in #Nottingham. Officers will be on the road with special cameras which read number plates and check against #DVLA records.
