Got my #minimeadows sign up @ecodewigroup. Just got to hope the sheep-mowers can read and not get up a stile. – at Saint Davids, Wales

I thought I saw a pair of Curlews today at the ol' copper mine/@seatrustwales porpoise survey area. On closer inspection they're #Whimbrel. Lovely to see and there were about 15 on an adjacent field. @PembsCoast – at Saint Davids, Wales

Had a lovely #volunteering session with @seatrustwales over #RamseySound. Porpoises were unusually far out today, but enjoyed being out there & taking notice #Wellbeing #sun #GardenTiger #caterpillar – at Saint Davids, Wales

Used my @nhbsNews #mothtrap last night (Full moon). Think I got Powdered Quaker (2), Early Grey (5), Shoulder Stripe (1), Hebrew Character (3) and Muslin Moth (1). #Moths. I like the new design of the trap, fewer parts, lighter and the frame feels sturdier and folds down well. – at Saint Davids, Wales

Won on the Grand National and spent it all on the new @nhbsNews #moth trap. Feels sturdier, lighter and folds down better than the old one I had, hopefully works just as well. Will also test the inverter too. – at Wales, United Kingdom

Waiting to see what's growing in the garden & sadly my bluebells, although small, are hybrid/non-native and I'll be digging them all up. Replant with natives this autumn. #Pembrokeshire – at Wales, United Kingdom

Wow, living so close to the sea eats away at tools very quickly. I spent the day tidying up some of them and coated them in my motorbike's @ACF50. I'm watching them carefully. My favourite was the little pick which (mortar pick?) has a beautiful handle. – at Wales, United Kingdom

2 porpoises spotted today while surveying with @seatrustwales vols near Ramsey Island. No pics, sadly, but did get this nice ship and loads of birds including these oystercatchers. – at Wales, United Kingdom

Nice bit of #volunteering with @PembsCoast at Porthgain on Tuesday led by Ranger Richard. Bit of tool maintenance, vegetation clearance around bike racks and info panel & put galvanised feet on oak benches. Pallet mover was most useful and good time in great company. – at Wales, United Kingdom

Helped with 8 others to #litterpick my local #beach at #Porthlysgi on Sunday #volunteering with @EcoDewiGroup. We collected some 14 bags plus larger items. The exit path reminded me of litterpicking in vegetation by Lamby Way, Cardiff. So many bits of broken rubbish in the soil. – at Wales, United Kingdom

Opened the backdoor door and found this ferociously beautiful #Woodlouse #Spider hiding in a crack. We have loads of huge woodlice in our old cottage so plenty to munch on. Read on @WTSWW that they can give you a nasty nip too. – at Wales, United Kingdom

Volunteering today with @PembsCoast shoring up storm battered steps, diverting infrastructure damaging water erosion and gave some tlc to steps at the beautiful #CaerfaiBay. No man will undo our brave step work. #StormÈowyn 😉 – at Wales, United Kingdom

Lovely time volunteering yesterday with @seatrustwales almost on my doorstep. Good number of porpoises including one almost following a black-backed gull on the tide. – at Wales, United Kingdom
