We’d love to hear from parents & uniform group leaders who are interested in talking about #WaterSafety with their children or have used @CRTExplorers activities. Take this short survey to help us improve our resources & offer resources for older children: ow.ly/5Pyu30r1s04

The weir at Crown Point is also being lowered in response to rising river levels. This will help reduce the risk of #flooding along the River Aire. Sign up to flood alerts here bit.ly/2uzvZk9 #Leeds #StormDennis @LeedsCC_News, @EnvAgencyYNE, @CRTYorkshireNE

An important message to ensure everyone has a fun & safe #NewYearsEve tonight: If you're heading out tonight near a canal or river, please #BeWaterSafe and remember #CharliesCode - go out together, stay together and take a route home away from the water. #DontDrinkAndDrown

In our culture I think too much emphasis is put on romantic relationships and not enough on friendship. I found this article celebrating friendship refreshing bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-no… “Put yourself out and go and see your friend. Don't always wait for them to come and see you.” – at Islington, London

"I can face the winter with calm. I'd been thinking of the winter as a horrid, wet, dreary time. Now I can see other things-crisp and sparkling days, long pleasant evenings, cheery fires. Good work shall be done this winter. Life shall be lived well."~A.A.Milne #SundayMotivation
