Time flies when you're building bridges! Check out this timelapse video as crews from Great Lakes Construction put the pieces of the puzzle together to install beams for the new Linn Street bridge over I-75. The Linn Street Reconstruction Project, which is part of the broader Brent Spence Bridge Corridor, includes replacing and reconstructing the bridge between W. 8th and W. Court streets and reconfiguring it to two, 10-foot driving lanes, with bike lanes and sidewalks on each side. The project will also include some minor reconfiguring of W. Court Street and Winchell Avenue, as well as replacement of the pedestrian bridge over Winchell.
