Maize clearly is a failing crop in Southern Africa due to climate change. @HHichilema, Zambia canβt spend over 4.3 billion kwacha on maize when the country has a crop diversification strategy and the Food Based Dietary Guidelines. @NFNCZambia

At first glance, The 2022 national budget scares me as there is no mention of the word NUTRITION in the 53 paged budget speech Dr. @S_Musokotwane presented to parliament. Analysis happening now.

Using food to buy votes ahead of the Zambiaβs elections???! It is immoral to capitalize on peopleβs vulnerabilities brought by food insecurity.
