We're so grateful to all the MPs who signed this letter to call on the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to commit to lowering the #BowelCancer screening sensitivity threshold.
Bowel cancer screening helps spot the disease before symptoms start, when it's more treatable. By improving the sensitivity threshold thousands of lives could be saved.
The latest report from @bowelcanceruk shows that progress on early diagnosis of the disease has stagnated.
That's why I, alongside other MPs, have sent a letter to the Secretary of State for Health, asking him to commit to optimising the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
