On Oct. 5, we test-fired Crucible, a CU student-built R-class motor with a carbon-fiber casing for Sunbeam’s spaceshot mission. Despite a nozzle anomaly, the test validated key design elements, and everyone is safe. Thanks to our sponsors & alumni!

Happy Earth Day from 89,825 ft up. 🌍🚀 Mamba III flew Mach 3.36, captured this view, and came back home. Successfully launched & recovered from Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR), CA. No better day to appreciate the planet we launch from.

Coming soon to a launch site probably not near you! P.S. can anyone guess the name of this rocket just by the color?

There is probably no better feeling than teaching others about rocketry, something I love, and watching them get excited about it too… so happy and lucky to be co-leading @CU_SRL’s HPR program with @data5206 this fall! Can’t wait for what’s to come this year.
