With all the talk of British identity this week, I'd like to express support for a Right of Return for the descendants of those who fled the Highland Clearances, and those sent to penal colonies in the Americas and Australia. As someone from the Campbell clan which participated in the Clearances, I'd like the government to formally recognise the process as an atrocity, and make amends for the injustice by at the very least offering full residency rights to the descendants of those forced to leave their homes. It's time to face up to the past and bring the diaspora back home.

So what is the point of NATO then if members can prepare someone who is not a member for an invasion of one of our territories ?

I have received directions to exercise the rights of sovereignty over these islands. Being my intention to hoist the flag of Great Britain, I request you to lower yours and withdraw your force together with all objects belonging to your Government.”
Replying to @DanielJHannan

Till Burnham would remove the Removes to Tutor-berg Forest, 9 AD, colourised
Peter Hyman, who is writing Burnham's ten year plan, says we should move schools into "zoos" and "forests". Hear me out for a second - what if we put them in "classrooms" with "books"?

Americans - Just admit you have an empire please. It's so tiresome when you do the whole free world values-aligned spiel. You have military bases everywhere and run censorship policy. You're an empire. It's ok. We like Americans. It's not Star Wars, you can be a good empire.
There is an obvious parallel between British issues getting the Dominions to pay for their own defense and US issues with NATO and Taiwan.

In 1774, a Scottish mountain was used to weigh the entire planet. And pretty much as a by-product, the people doing it helped invent something you'll find on every single walking map you've ever owned. This is the story of the ‘fairy hill of the Caledonians’: Schiehallion. 1/5

Labour will sharply reduce funding for some of Britain’s most affluent councils and divert it to poorer areas, after Andy Burnham has promised to create “good growth in every postcode”. Councils in the vales and shires will lose £61m of grant funding from central government over the next three years, while urban areas will see an uplift of £2.9bn, according to ONS figures ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

The pound is also down by about that since the 1950s, so it's fitting to put hedgehogs on the new banknotes!
Britain had about 30 million hedgehogs in the 1950s; we've got under 875,000 today. The population has dropped by about 97%. Shocking.

We are militarily occupied by the greatest ally of a country trying to destroy ours.
Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina over the Falklands, The Telegraph can reveal. The Israeli prime minister told diplomats to change his country’s official position and join Buenos Aires in calling for direct talks over the future of the islands. 🔗 telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

It's been reported by the Telegraph that Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina on the Falklands over Britain. Why should Britain be expected to defend Israel's national interests if Israel's leadership refuses to respect ours? Britain is not obliged to give any foreign government unconditional political or military support. Our foreign policy should be guided by British interests, and British interests only - that is the Restore Britain position. The Falkland Islands are British, and will remain British.

Ilhan Omar's sister lived in what is now a £2,080/mo flat in Central London I wonder how much taxpayer money was involved? It is amazing the international mobility these people have, a global welfare lifestyle
The New York Post just published the marriage certificate of the sister of Ilhan Omar’s ‘brother husband’ who lived with him in the UK. She lists their father as ‘Nur Said Elmi’ and his says he is a “military officer”. This lines up with Leila Nur Said also being Ilhan’s sister, which even further proves Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who Ilhan married, is also her brother. Yikes.
