How the Genesis sealed-bid auction works, explained with an example 👇
Imagine only 3 NFTs for sale. Minimum price: 500 cZAMA (example only).
4 people bid 1 NFT each:
→ A: 3,000
→ B: 1,500
→ C: 1,000
→ D: 500 (the minimum)
The top 3 bids win: A, B and C.
All winners pay the same final price, the lowest winning bid: 1,000.
→ A pays 1,000, gets 2,000 back.
→ B pays 1,000, gets 500 back.
→ C pays 1,000.
→ D bid the minimum, gets no NFT, gets 500 back.
Lesson: bidding the minimum doesn't mean you buy at the minimum. Bid what it's worth to you, you'll only pay the final price.

I've been looking into what @IPXExchange is building, and I think the interesting part isn't just another points campaign.
It's the idea of turning fandom into an active part of the IP economy.
Traditionally, fans consume content, support creators, buy merchandise and promote the projects they love. However, most of that attention and community activity doesn't translate into meaningful participation in the ownership or economic side of intellectual property.
IPX is exploring a different approach.
Built on Base, IPX aims to create an ecosystem where fans can support the films, music, shows and games they believe in through project tokens.
What makes this interesting is the connection between communities and the IP they support.
FAN SZN is an early example of how this participation can be organized.
Instead of simply asking users to follow an account or complete random social tasks, the campaign introduces several layers:
• Fan Check: connects your X social presence with your chosen fandom.
• Aura: measures participation and contributes to your campaign progress.
• Fandom Leaderboards: create competition between different fan communities, not just individual users.
• Side Quests and Content Submissions: give participants different ways to engage with the ecosystem.
One thing I find particularly interesting is the fandom leaderboard.
It creates a competitive layer between communities, potentially turning individual participation into collective activity.
Of course, the long-term question is whether this engagement can develop into genuine support for IP projects rather than remaining a points-driven campaign.
That's what I'll be watching as IPX evolves.
