☀️ It’s Cool to Be Kind.
Extreme heat can be dangerous for anyone, but it can be life-threatening for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, who often have nowhere to escape the heat.
🌡️Know the signs of heat illness.
If someone appears confused, unresponsive, loses consciousness, or is experiencing a medical emergency related to the heat, call 911 immediately.

This heatwave, the coolest thing you can do is look out for one another.

As we close National Social Work Month, we want to take a moment to recognize not just the impact of social workers, but the weight of the work they carry every day.
Social workers show up in moments of crisis, uncertainty, and deep need.
In work that asks you to show up for others every day, taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it’s essential.
