At the end of May, I will be leaving my position with The Bama Buzz and making the move to Nashville.
I'm so grateful for all the connections I've made in Alabama media over the years, especially in the high school sports world. Friday nights won't be the same without it.

this doesn’t look like a guy who’s “remorseful” this is genuinely gross and idk how people defend this or his actions

🧵GAME THREAD: The 5A Region 6 title is on the line tonight. Hendersonville wins the toss and defers. Beech will receive the opening kickoff. Let’s football. @MainStreetPreps
END OF Q3: Beech 42, Hendersonville 0
The @BeechBucsSports student section still sounds like this in case anyone was wondering. No quitting for a rivalry game. @MainStreetPreps
FINAL: Beech 49, Hendersonville 7
The Bucs have claimed their fifth straight win in the rivalry and their third straight region title. @MainStreetPreps

HALFTIME: Beech 35, Hendersonville 0
The first completed pass for either team comes in the final minute of the half as JR French hauls in a 21-yard TD pass from Sawyer Phillips. It’s all Buccaneers so far tonight.
I’m at the Battle of Drakes Creek tonight as Beech takes on Hendersonville. This is what the Commandos’ offense will be hearing all night from the Beech student section. @MainStreetPreps

Last month, Kirk Herbstreit said he doesn't follow politics or pick sides.
Which was nonsense. Just last week, Herbstreit quietly headlined a fundraising dinner for Alabama's second-biggest PAC.
The next day, it sent $155,000 to Tommy Tuberville.

I'll take Pat McAfee that a University of Utah student calling him 'corny' made him honestly feel uncomfortable.
I would politely ask him to consider how Mississippi student Mary Kate Cornett felt when he used his show to amplify a false rumor about an 18-year-old's sex life.
EXTENSIVE research in this age of recruiting 😳
@StevenPearl22 detailed to @vincewolfram15 the lengths the @AuburnMBB staff goes to for finding players 👀
