This is ahistorical and false. Also Denying BA citizenship never erased our American ancestry, history, or identity. Citizenship and ethnicity are not the same thing. North Carolina recognized free Black citizens as early as 1838 in State v. Manuel 20 years before Dred Scott. aka Stay out our business.

Black people couldn’t vote once upon a time. When we could vote, we had to pay to vote. Now that we can vote, no one takes it seriously. Voting seem like it doesn’t work because you people only care about the presidential election. It’s so much on they damn ballot.
