Generate a highlight video using videos you already have. Getscoutedge.com takes less than 5 minutes
We made a major improvement to ScoutEdge’s ball detection model:
Average missed start:
5.4 frames → 0.8 frames
Usable pitches:
~65% → 100% in our test dataset
At 240fps, the first few frames matter a lot.
Sometimes the ball is the 2nd or 3rd candidate.
The top candidate might be a glove, arm, bat, net, dirt, or background artifact.
The new system can choose a lower-confidence point when the full trajectory makes more physical sense.
ScoutEdge is going to build a whole suite of useful tools for players trying to get recruited.
This is the first one we're launching for free.
Take your clips, add your metrics, and make a clean recruiting video coaches can evaluate!
We’ve launched a FREE highlight generation tool for pitchers. We took some code from our app that handles the metrics overlay and have released it for free!

We've put a lot of work into making this easy to use - getting as close to point and shoot as possible

Most computer vision demos work.
Hard part is getting them to work for everyone at different fields, lighting, positions, etc
Recovering advanced analytics from a few hundred ms of video is difficult. Doing it without manual calibration is even harder - live on @getScoutEdge
