You have to pass the bill before you can find out what’s in it. 🤔
Responding to CBS News poll showing most Americans don't know specifics of Democrats' spending bill, Pelosi tells @NikolenDC "it is hard to break through when you have such a comprehensive package"

The problem is that leadership has moved the goal post for Border Republicans in the states upper and lower chambers. How come districts that seemed competitive in 2020 are now bluer in the proposed maps? @HidalgoCoGOP @elpasoyr @republicanwb @CameronCtyGOP
South Texas was already a political battleground. New maps could alter game plans.

I could not believe what I heard President Biden say this afternoon. He said it would have been hard and painful to withdraw from Afghanistan whether we did it a month ago or a month from now.
How about this idea: you should’ve taken the civilians out before the military left!

Statewide/national candidates collect contributions from folks that anxiously donate big bucks to those campaigns, but when it comes to contributing to local candidates, those same donors are tight w their $$. Local candidates directly impact our lives daily. Support the locals.
Gov @GregAbbott_TX's team has straight up told GOP legislators he wasn't available to help them with fundraising in their communities, then he showed up days later in their districts to do fundraising for himself. If you think he's giving back any contribution from anyone: lol.

Actual letter to the editor published by @statesman:
1. I said Republicans “look forward to continuing to make Texas a beacon of freedom for other states to emulate."
2. Nazis used the slogan “Work makes you free.”
3. Ergo @TexasGOP is part of a Nationwide Nazi conspiracy.
