We need more Christian hackathons!
This is amazing to see! 🙏
So far we've got 36 teams and 59 participants competing for $2500.
The build window opens this Friday, the 30th, then they have 30 days to build something amazing for the church.

If you're willing to go this far I strongly urge you to checkout Remix:
- Keep your JSX/composability
- State is a variable
- No magic
You can also easily integrate with libraries like XState if you want more sophisticated state management. No need special adapter libraries.

What does this mean for the future of UI?
UI code, the rendering engine and production metrics will merge into one loop. Code will see inside the engine, the way games have for decades, and metrics will shape the UI directly instead of sitting in a dashboard.
And formal methods can bring code’s standards to UI. Instead of comparing screenshots, CI could prove a change never causes a layout jump on any device, across infinitely many screen sizes, the way a type checker proves code is sound.

Waymark.chat now includes over 300,000 cross-references (connected by themes, allusions, paraphrases, or quotations) between Bible passages. One way they're being surfaced is through every study page. Each one comes with an estimated relevance score:

The only reason Macro works so well is because we're in our own form of RSI loop
- The whole team uses it all the time, so we get human QA for free from smart people. The team really likes what we're building and uses it 8+ hours a day, so everyone has good intuitions
- When there are bugs in the product we spawn most of our agents from Macro - this is also how we know that agents are working well, and if there's issues we spawn more agents to fix the agents
- Customer feedback comes in through support channels directly to founders and we can kick off agents right from those support channels
Marketing -> user feedback -> coding agents -> merge, all within Macro

I was in choir and needed to plunk out a couple notes so I had my Grok bot build this Kody app for me. PWA, hosted on Kody with a custom domain. I love this stuff because I can customize it to be exactly what I want piano.kentcdodds.com 🎹
