Canada will play in the WORLD CUP ROUND OF 16 in HOUSTON on the Fourth of July! I have never, what a moment!

Alphonso Davies at left wing? 👀 #CanMNT

One of the greatest things as a football fan is seeing players develop for your nation right in front of your eyes. I would never have expected Nathan Saliba getting Champions League goal contributions vs Liverpool this time last year. Brilliance! #CanMNT

I’ve been baffled in the past by Canadian transfers but I’ll never understand this one. Not even that it’s bad LDF is gonna get a pile of playing time, it’s better than other ones for sure, but like, Luc is so far beyond MLS it is silly. I guess proving it will only be a good thing though. He better go back to Fulham in January, #CanMNT

Promise David to Brighton really is gonna end up a complete nightmare isnt it? #CanMNT "Rise so high, in mud you lie."

As a football fan, gosh it is special being at Wembley stadium for the first time in my life. Impossible to comprehend how many days and nights like this this stadium has seen in front of tens of thousands of screaming fans!

In no uncertain terms, have to slaughter them in both games. #CanMNT

This is hugely important! Canada absolutely has to be pot 2 in 2030. Every match every tournament is hugely important for the next 3.5 years. #CanMNT

You'd think these people would just accept Jesse Marsch is not going anywhere for years to come. Instead they just moan and moan.. tiring honestly. #CanMNT

It’s 1am and I have to catch a 8am train to Munich! But I will be finding a way to watch this full game replay because I need me some LDF-Priso backline! #CanMNT

Oh for EFF sake! #CanMNT Why cant we have nice things?

Checks out, apparently only 30% of Parisian households own a vehicle and only 1.9%!!! Use a car 3-4 times a week. I’ve been stunned at the sheer volume of bicycles. Men and women in full business attire just cruising down the street in their expensive dress shoes and high heels.. Like does no one change at the office to bike home? 😅 I couldn’t last a week living in Beaumont Alberta without a car unless I was ubering everywhere.

Does anyone drive in Paris? The amount of foot traffic and insane number of bicycles is shocking.

David and Davies in sparkling form, this is a good sign. Considering Saliba's rise, Millar's torrid start, Larin pacing the championship in scoring, and more, things look good for Canada heading into these fall friendlies. #CanMNT

So I have to say, the thing that impressed me the most yesterday is the time the players take for the fans. Without exception, every single Wrexham AFC player yesterday stopped to sign anything and everything the fans asked of them and took selfies and pictures with anyone and everyone. As a North American sports fan, it was stunning to see. They didn’t sign one out of every five or ten, they took the time to sign every single thing. I am sure Kieffer Moore signed easily 100 autographs and it’s just so impressive. I understand logistically this becomes harder when there’s 500 or 1000 fans wanting autographs and pictures. From the coach on down to all of the players, Wrexham is such a class organization. I hope they keep this culture when they make the Prem.

What a massive win for Wrexham! Gosh that was so fun! Well worth the trip! I’ll take 3 points from West Ham and Southampton every single time! I have so many bookmarked tweets from Wrexham fans but I’m gonna take the high road and simply say there are a lot of Wrexham people that need to walk back a lot of tweets.

Literally do seats get any better? Incredible day for football! So excited for this game. Up the shagging town! #WxmAFC

Welcome to Wrexham! 🎉🎉🥳 Getting to watch Cyle Larin vs Wrexham tomorrow is gonna be so fun!

So I just realized I’ll be in Munich when Germany play Greece in Augsburg and I will be in London when England play Czechia at Wembley.. I kind of have to right?

As amusing as this is to think about. There is no chance Canada would join UEFA even if we join the European Union. There are different governing rules. One of UEFA’s stipulations is you have to be on the continent of Europe. Also Canada would not leave Concacaf, our World Cup qualifying would instantly get 10x harder.
