I’m curious, why is it we almost never see any Arabs on television to discuss this race considering the candidate they’re talking about is Arab? Imagine if only white people were on TV talking about Obama when he was running?
Wow love this panel on to discuss issues like the US-Israel relationship. CNN is giving us the opportunity to hear a real range in perspectives, from Scott Jennings all the way to Van Jones

The claim nuclear is more reliable than renewables is a myth. WindWaterSolar has not only met a higher percent (12.8%) of demand during its worst 5 minutes in all of 2026 than nuclear during its best 5 minutes (12.0%), but has also met seasonal & daily demand better than nuclear from 2023-26 on the @CaliforniaISO grid. WWS output (left) is predictably consistent all year, peaking in early summer close to demand (late summer) Nuclear output is flat most of the year (not following demand). The rest of the year (1-2 months), it decreases by 50%. P.S., WWS' peak 5-minute output in 2026 is 165% of demand, or 13.75 times that of nuclear's peak output vs demand (12.0%).

EVs in the UK are "running out of juice"...except they're not..and never were. Again and again, critics have doubted EVs, yet the market simply keeps on growing. [Original graphic by Carbon Brief, annotations added later]

She should not have access to any classified information, much less have input on defense decisions. Also, neither of their suit jackets fit well. @dieworkwear
The wife of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly has a “heavy hand” in national defense decisions — without holding an appointed or employed position at DoD. We’re suing to uncover the administration’s attempt to hide documents that would reveal the extent of her role.

"If you bring policymakers to the current story with current facts, it goes something like this: Solar and storage is the most cost-effective form of energy in the country, without question.” — @TimPawlenty canarymedia.com/articles/sol…

Energy abundance means building as much new energy as quickly as possible. Solar & storage are unmatched in that department ⬇️

A clean, electrified energy system has been a dream for decades. Thirty years ago the core components existed, but they weren't economical. That has changed. Chips, batteries, power electronics, motors and sensors have each fallen over 97% in price. It's best to recognise a shift early. Second best is to act on it when it's staring us in the face.

Gas & coal plant outages in Texas are up 40% in the last 48 hours. Solar carried the day & batteries just set a new record at sunset. Gas plants are important energy resources but they struggle in extreme heat & cold. Better to have a diverse resource mix, as Texas does. 1/

The draft permit for emissions from the “rescoping” of work at Cliffs’ Middletown Works in Ohio will raise pollution in the area to levels higher than those for almost all times in the last five years. @canarymediainc canarymedia.com/articles/gre…

Cleveland-Cliffs won a $500M grant for a green-steel push at its Middletown Works. "Rescoping" the work under Trump's Dept. of Energy will instead perpetuate coal use and will boost local pollution, a draft air permit shows. @EJTodayNews @CanaryMediaInc canarymedia.com/articles/gre…

California just became the first major grid system on the planet to generate more than 50% of its electricity from solar across an entire month. Battery costs are falling rapidly, and utility-scale solar is among the cheapest sources of new power in the US. Solar is the future.

You could watch the news 24/7 & not know that: Our planet’s at its hottest in 120,000 years. Methane levels are their highest in MILLIONS of years. CO2 levels their highest in 3 MILLION years. We're in a climate crisis. Denying it won't solve the problem. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy #panelsnotpipelines

Today was the 4th time >10 gigawatts of batteries were deployed in Texas & the 2nd time in the last week! Batteries were discharged at that level even though prices were >99% below the price cap. Huge wholesale cost reductions from batteries in ERCOT. #txlege #txenergy
Four of the top six battery records in Texas have happend in the last week. Next 3 nights will likely be similar. Daily pattern is as predictable as the sun: batteries charge when the sun comes up and discharge when it goes down. Fourth of July shown below. #txlege #txenergy
