Dropping Dodgy's IFVG early instead of waiting till Sunday, enjoy your weekend. Left a few things out based on his own explanations/settings. Full reasoning on github. if a setup is present on his chart, this indicator will show it too. github.com/cantolab/IFVG-Ult…

Why not make a verified PnL statement that can be shared via link. So we know whom to trust, and how many of these affiliates are not faking trades (not just payouts). @VestExchange
The Vest team has reviewed the recent posts and will be enforcing an affiliate ban for Lanto. Under our guidelines, earned commissions will be paid but Lanto is no longer eligible to receive commissions going forward. We appreciate the cooperation from @thebrianstonk in enforcing this via their shared entity code.

Hey @AnthonyCrudele and @NTLiveMedia, yall might want to look into this. Im sure you dont want someone on your livestream who is blatantly misleading and lying to the masses.
i try my absolute best to stay out of drama but this is fucking gold @lanto_trades posted yesterday he made $500k after only buying 40 accounts with vest. edited the account names to reflect 40-50ish. then accidentally uploads the uncropped screenshot of account 819. deletes. reuploads the cropped version. you too can probably make $500k after 819 yolos.

I have the same question
are perps just one big IQ test??? $500-800 for 50k accounts, with a worse data feed and 10% profit targets to pass? have any NORMAL traders bought these accounts and had success? or is it just influencers?

Love open source. I stopped working on it, but @ICT2023Trader picked it up and keeps contributing to the fractal community. @MountainDude65 has also made some interesting modifications. Nothing else stood out. Open source links in comments to build your own fractal/SMT/PSP.
Enjoying time with family here in TN - I'll be back on the 16th. I wanted to let you guys know that I've been working on this behind the scenes. I didn't trade today, but things looked good from replay mode. Still more testing ... but it's coming ... 😎 @CantoIndicators

Forgot to mention: 3-4 more fractal versions exist, but they do the same job, so I skipped them. @fxraptor_alpha open sourced first. Disgusted by how many were selling it, I released a clean version of mine. The rest only followed under audience pressure. Wont mention them

this is the most logical comment I've seen on my posts.
Price discovery doesn’t care if a gap was inverted or not. Most price action strategies are hindsight narratives. Without statistical validation and realistic execution costs, you’re just fitting patterns to historical data. Especially in short term CME futures.

Every trader here seems to make thousands of dollars. So why don't they trade their own personal accounts or invest for the long term? Even if they averaged just 5% a month, the compounding would be insane over time. with a personal account, you can tolerate larger DD too.

Taking a long break from X. Will be back when I have something useful. For now I'm testing systems and focusing on ETFs and stocks. Don't fall for $40 indicators or influencers pushing propfirm codes. Question anyone claiming to make money. DMs open for ideas and suggestions.

I just tried @VestExchange’s cheapest account. What I loved: the rules are great. Static MLL, overnight/weekend holding, and no time limit. What I hated: the slippage is horrible. I lost almost $10–15 on a $5K account, which is not nothing. After just 3–4 trades, almost 1% is gone to fees/slippage. I know some people are going to comment about using limit orders. The spreads are insane too, so your limit often won’t fill unless price moves well past your order. I haven’t had a single limit order trigger. What I’m wondering is how so many traders on X are passing these accounts so quickly. If they can consistently do it on Vest with this kind of slippage, they should have no problem passing futures prop firms. Something feels off about how quickly everyone seems to be making profits.

I’ve actually coded this dodgy’s ifvg model, and @hdj_100 has too. Once you code it yourself, you realise what’s actually happening. The model identifies pretty much every possible IFVG and then applies a few filters to hide some of them. But filters don’t magically make the model profitable. You can still end up with hundreds of setups every day on one chart, and thousands if you trade multiple assets. Then the trader is expected to manually identify the best 1–3 setups. So what exactly are you paying $40/month for? If the tool still requires you to do most of the work to figure out which setups are actually worth taking, you might as well identify the IFVGs yourself. Blindly following the indicator obviously isn’t going to make you profitable. I have no issue with someone being upset that their work was copied. But charging $40/month for a tool that can bring in $20k/month while the people buying these indicators can collectively lose hundreds of thousands every month raises a pretty obvious question: What exactly are you paying for? ICT has made these concepts publicly available for free. I don’t see why anyone should get to package one of those concepts as if they invented it and build a subscription business around it.

interesting rules from @VestExchange , allows me to swing trade. drop some suggestions on which other prop firms have static & overnight/weekend holding allowed

bro nobody's saying DLL is bad, I use one myself. it stops me from losing more than I'm comfortable with. that's not the same thing as a trailing drawdown tho. on my personal account if I make profit my floor doesn't move up, why should it on a prop account? static gives me real room, and no strategy survives every drawdown period, that's just how markets work. I'm not asking for free money, just let my profits give me some breathing room.
This is wrong. Some of the best traders have a DLL. We also see it here in the @Topstep Octogon with Live accounts. DLLs save accounts. "No strategy is ever good enough to survive that" is a silly statement.

this is exactly why I prefer prop firms with static drawdown over futures-style trailing ones. not naming any, I'm not affiliated with anyone. my profits should give me more room. If I'm up 400 on a 50k, my floor shouldn't be sitting at 48,400 that's like punishing me for any loss I take.
