These governors oversee daily operations in their sectors, respond to residents' needs, and coordinate across sectors to support the city's overall function. They exchange resources, resolve challenges, and develop plans for future growth. The governance follows principles of liquid democracy. Rentiers may vote directly on city decisions or delegate their votes to governors. Governors, accountable to the community, represent collective priorities while allowing rentiers to reclaim or reassign their votes at any time. The governors appear as levitating orbs with cameras positioned for complete visibility. Their spherical form and metallic surface align with the city's innovative setting. Population and Ownership: CardanoCity includes 50,000 rentiers who collectively own the entire city. It exists as a perfect cube in space, measuring five kilometers on each side. This form is not symbolic but structural. The cube acts as both boundary and framework, allowing the city to operate as a closed, self-regulating environment. At its center sits the Core, a 100-meter cube located at the precise origin of the city’s coordinate system. The Core produces gravity and energy. Its operation is based on a material or process that remains undisclosed, but its reliability is proven. The Core is not a monument. It is an engine. It holds the city in balance. The city is organized by a three-dimensional grid, an infrastructural spine echoing the principles of Modulor and the logic of parametric design. It defines space not by use but by potential. Every unit within the grid can be programmed as residential, commercial, civic, or open. Nothing is fixed except the structure itself. Growth is not horizontal or vertical. It is volumetric. The outermost layer of the city is known as The Crust. This is where the tallest buildings are located, pressed against the inside surface of the cube. At night, The Crust becomes a glowing skin of light, movement, and reflection. Living in this zone means seeing the city from above, across, and below. Some refer to it as Sky High Heritage. CardanoCity is privately owned by fifty thousand Rentiers. Each Rentier holds one residential unit consisting of one hundred homes. These units are the core of the city’s housing system. Rentiers are responsible for leasing, maintenance, and the daily operations of their sections. Ownership is distributed, but organized. The system favors long-term stability over speculation. Corporations manage certain sectors of the city. Their role is to deliver infrastructure, insurance, and other essential services. These responsibilities are defined and contained. Corporate management exists to support the system, not to shape its identity. The city was founded by LeCrash, a figure whose current involvement is minimal. His ideas are embedded in the city’s structure, but his presence is not required for it to function. CardanoCity is designed to be both functional and resilient. Introducing: Purple Particles CardanoCity fungible Token. $PP is the utility token that powers the microeconomy of CardanoCity. This token was explicitly created for CardanoCity users. We do not hold it, nor do we trade it. The total supply is 10 billion, corresponding to 50,000 CardanoCity Units. All Units are treated equally, with each one allocated 200,000 $PP. Purple Particles begin their life in the Public Pool that powers the CC HYBRID SWAP. From there, users can obtain them by swapping in their V2 Units. Every user also has the option to redeem a V2 Unit in exchange for $PP at any time, since the swap works in both directions. When you swap your NFT for tokens, you will receive a fixed amount of 200,000 $PP. This will be the only retail method for acquiring $PP tokens. Keep in mind that once you swap, you are giving up your specific Unit. This action is irreversible unless no one else in the swap pool picks up your NFT in exchange for their Purple Particles. Think of it like listing your NFT on an open market, except the only accepted currency is $PP. The $PP tokens you receive are not tied to the NFTs you traded in any way. This means that, as a $PP holder, you can use the swap to claim NFTs from the public pool that previously belonged to someone else, at a fixed cost of 200,000 $PP per Unit. That value will not change. Currently, the main use cases for $PP are acquiring it through the deposit of V2 Units, trading it on DEXes, and using it to exchange for CardanoCityCats, our brand-new collection that we’ll be revealing in the next post. More about the CC HYBRID SWAP: We want to emphasize that the swap is a fully autonomous system protected by a smart contract. CC HYBRID SWAP is an experimental product, and we are genuinely excited to see how the community utilizes it and what outcomes it may yield.
