What a gritty performance tonight.
Couldn’t be prouder of this group for digging deep, embracing the fight, and finding a way to earn another invaluable 3 points.
This team is learning how to handle adversity like champions. Not every game is going to be pretty, comfortable, or go according to plan. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper, find another gear, and find a way. It takes what it takes.
And credit where it’s due - Southeastern brought one hell of a fight tonight. They made life incredibly difficult for us, particularly in the second half. A side that competes for everything, refuses to back down, and makes you earn every inch. They deserve serious credit for their performance.
Nights like these are about more than three points. They’re about character, resilience, and finding a way when the game demands more of you.
Proud of this group. ❤️⚽️

Lamar is now a full three points ahead of HCU and UIW. Since Lamar already has a win against UIW, a win against the Huskies next Sunday would clinch the regular season title for the Cards.

This Lamar team is full of newcomers and one guy I’m buying stock in is RHP Diego Luzardo.
The new @Lamar_Baseball went two clean innings today vs Tulane and worked around trouble in the first.

Getting my first look at new @Lamar_Baseball SS Jace Martinez who just roped a two run single and worked a nice AB to start the day.
Martinez transferred in from Sam Houston State and was more known for his glove over there. He could be a breakout candidate this year for the Cards.

The Fall Tour rolls on this week as I am heading up to Alabama and Louisiana to catch some more fall ball!
Make sure to be following along here and @CollegeBaseCNT as I will be pumping out content all week long!
Some fall baseball in New Orleans today.
I’m going to try to find some information about the score while the game is going on. I’ll post whatever I find out.
