I went down the Holmes rabbit hole around 2021. I get it: she preyed on sensitive young (physically old) billionaires with misplaced paternal girl-dad energy, constant sexual fuck-me eyes, never insecure, always hungry. One of the most compelling recent figures. In tech instead of medicine, she’d be a millionaire. Like Seth Dillon, she lied about her product for a bajillion dollars. She tried to make it work but got over her skis and stayed too long. As a female, she was foisted to fame levels nameless dudes never reached (who remain unscathed). I could fix her. The scammer Indian dude she hooked up with is more to blame than her.

The worst part of the prequels is knowing Annekin succumbs to the dark side. Overall very good story imo. Might rewatch to see how it holds up. Compared to most slop of the last 10-20 years I bet they’re really good.
